Damn! Here i was thinking that I was a grey scale kinda girl!
Then I met this crazy little medium called WATERCOLOUR!!!
It's not that I hadn't heard of it before... I just never in my wildest dreams thought my humble little pencil would ever have a full blown love affair with it!!!
Still have a long way to go with the process but am lovin learning something new...

Playing with COLOUR!

Been playing with colour...
I got inspired by a posting on Element Eden AU's Facebook page. One of their advocates Esra RĂ˜ise ROCKED this little humming bird but she also showed the process... was love at first sight!
here's the link HERE... AMAZING right? I'm still way off her incredible talent, but LIVE LEARN GROW right!

She wore flowers in her hair

So my little fawn has totally kicked me in the tush and I've come to a halt.
So just for fun and to see if I can, I've gone a little girly with this one.
It's actually been quite fun to draw. relaxed.

Once Upon a Time... I wrote a story

Multiple Sclerosis
Not something alot of people know about. But heck, my family sure does.
My sister was diagnosed at 17 and my gosh it's one hell of a thing for someone
to live with...
So I wrote a short story about my sister and the MS Society of New Zealand decided to
print it in their little magazine they send to people living with MS.

MS Awareness week starts at the end of this month 31st Aug - 7th Sept

Blade by itty bitty Blade!

Sometimes I start a drawing and get to a point where I think
to myself... You're totally crackers!!!
In this case it's drawing a fern... WHY WOULD I DRAW A FERN!!!! actually, there's not
going to be just one fern... there'll be two!
I think back to the movie Finding Nemo and have to tell myself

just keep swimming...

No love for this one

This piece of work has been in the making for a few months now. I've actually started it
a few times, then getting to a point that frustrated me so much I had
to start again... I'm still not overly in love with it... but am happy enough
to file it in the "to be explored" pile!!

Who's King?
